Executive and Board Bios

Gary M. Knaus

President and Founder

Mr. Knaus has more than 30 years of CEO and leadership experience building successful enterprises. He founded two companies that were sold to Fortune 500 firms: Context Software Systems and Medical Administration Publications. During his career Mr. Knaus has spearheaded the design, development and marketing of more than 25 industry-leading products, many of which are on the market today and remain among the category leaders.  A lifelong collector of rare coins, Mr. Knaus uncovered price inefficiencies in the numismatic industry, which led to the formation of Numismatic Investments Corporation. 

In addition to building businesses, his accomplishments include authoring a best selling book Getting Paid for What You Do, public speaking, and participating on industry panels as well as non-profit and corporate boards. Mr. Knaus received his B.A. in Psychology from Southern Illinois University and his MBA from the University of Chicago, Graduate School of Business.

Dennis A. Ross

Consultant and Advisor

Mr. Ross has over 15 years experience in statistical analysis, modeling, qualitative and quantitative research for social service, business and marketing projects. He is founder and president of Data Analysis Research, a firm whose clients span industries ranging from automotive to healthcare. Prior to DAR, Mr. Ross’s positions included Director or Research for GovernanceMetrics International and Principal of Mercer Delta Consulting.  Mr. Ross has a Bachelors degree in Psychology from Bowling Green State University, a Masters degree in Industrial & Organizational Psychology from the University of New Haven. He also did post-graduate studies in statistics DePaul University in Chicago.

Michael D. Printz

Consultant and Advisor

Mr. Printz has more than 15 years of significant numismatic industry experience. During his career Mr. Printz has facilitated the formation of numerous major coin collections and has developed extensive contacts throughout the industry. He is also recognized as the leader in numismatic digital imaging technology.  Mr. Printz currently heads up operations for Larry Whitlow, Ltd., a leading numismatic firm that specializes in high-end type set as well as 20th Century rare U.S. coins.  He has a Bachelors degree in Finance from the University of Illinois, Chicago

Walter G. Cornett III

Board Member

Mr. Cornett has 38 years experience as a Chief Executive, Director, Advisor and entrepreneur. After an initial executive stint with Baxter, Mr. Cornett founded seven companies, including Convacare (extended care facilities), Respiratory Care (creators of the pre-filled AquaPak system), Corpak (enteral feeding systems), Efficient Health Systems (Illinois' first PPO system), and Americare (Medicare Part B Billing). Mr. Cornett is the General Partner of the Cerulean Fund, an early-stage seed investment fund. Mr. Cornett holds a Bachelors in Chemical Engineering from Georgia Tech and a Harvard MBA.
